About us

The members of the “Edubutic” research group, Mª Angeles de la Caba Collado and Rafael López Atxurra, both lecture at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in the Faculty of Philosophy and Education (Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education) and at the San Sebastián Teacher Training College (Department of Social Science Didactics).

We share a series of educational concerns related to social and citizenship education which aim to foster the competences and values of both self-care and positive treatment towards others and the environment by encouraging the creation of contexts characterised by communication, participation and non-violent conflict resolution. "Social and Citizenship Education" aims to foster the ethics of rights and responsibilities in both self-care and in those relationships we believe to be important and which we wish to share with all of you through this website.

Then, in the other sections of the website you will find links, resources, tools, experiences and information, provided and developed by both educational institutions and social-educational groups and agencies which are interested in these themes.
